About me

Hi there… I’m Hyacinth 🌸

I think my name suits me perfectly — I’m told I’m rather beautiful, and I do try very hard to be a pleasure to be around. My past is a bit of a mystery, and while I haven’t always had the easiest start in life (you might notice a few little scars on my nose), my heart is completely open and ready for a fresh beginning.

If you’re looking for a cuddle bug, you’ve found her. I am a total sweetheart who *adores* people — every single person I meet instantly becomes my best friend. I don’t just give love, I smother you in it. Expect leaning, snuggling, and a girl who wants nothing more than to be right by your side, soaking up all the affection she can get.

I love going out for walks and exploring the world with my humans. I might start off quite excited (life is just so exciting!), but once I’ve settled into the walk, I stroll along beautifully on the lead and really enjoy our time together. I’m still learning a few manners and could use some gentle guidance, as my enthusiasm sometimes takes over — but I’m eager to please and just want to do my best.

My dream home would be a calm, loving place where I can truly settle and feel safe. Because of my size and excitable nature, I’d be best suited to a home with children aged 14 years and over, as long as they’re experienced, confident, and comfortable around large breeds. I’d love a nice, secure garden with 6ft fencing where I can potter about, relax, and enjoy some fresh air of my own.

I’m not quite sure if I’ve mastered house training yet, so I’ll need a patient family who are happy to help me learn if needed. I’d also really benefit from someone being around most of the time when I first arrive, as new environments can be a lot to take in. Once I’m settled, I believe I could be left for up to two hours, and with time and reassurance, this could gradually be built up.

I could potentially enjoy having some calm doggy walking buddies in the future, I would prefer to be the only pet in the home so I can soak up all the love. I could possibly live alongside small, caged animals, as long as they’re kept safely out of my way and given their own quiet space.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate girl who will fill your home with warmth, cuddles, and an abundance of love, I might just be your Hyacinth 💕
