About me

Hello, my name is Lass 🌿

I’m a young Lurcher with long legs, a gentle heart, and a story that’s still being written. I’m safe now, and every day I’m learning that the world can be a good place.

I’m still finding my feet and learning what it means to feel truly settled in a home. What I need most is patience, kindness, and a calm environment where I can continue to build my confidence and feel secure.

I may need a few finishing touches with my house training, as everything is still quite new to me. With a consistent routine and gentle guidance, I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it — I’m a clever girl and eager to learn.

I’m looking for a calm home with a secure garden and 6ft fencing, so I can stretch my legs safely and enjoy the fresh air, a rural or village setting would suit me best. I’d love somewhere peaceful where I can watch the world go by without too much hustle and bustle.

An experienced home would be lovely, but it’s not essential — what matters most is understanding and a willingness to help me grow in confidence. I can live with calm children aged 11 and over, as long as they respect my space and let me settle in at my own pace.

I can’t live with cats or small animals — my Lurcher instincts are a bit too strong for that — but I’m happy to have canine walking friends and enjoy social walks once I get to know them.

I should probably be honest and tell you that I may show some typical Lurcher habits. I might counter-surf and occasionally help myself to unattended food (it’s amazing what these long legs can reach!), but with training, management, and consistency, this is something I can learn to improve on.

If you’re looking for a gentle soul who just needs a second chance, I might be your girl. With time, love, and reassurance, I know I’ll blossom into a wonderful companion.
