Calling all dog lovers! Our much-loved online dog show is back on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July and we’d love for you and your four-legged best friends to be a part of it! Our upcoming online dog show event is the perfect opportunity for you and your wonderful pooch to shine. Hosted by Jerry Green Dog Rescue, this feel-good event is a chance to show off your pooch, connect with fellow dog lovers, and support our mission as a leading dog rescue charity in the UK. So, grab your lead, spruce up your pup, and get ready to enter the spotlight!

Why Take Part in Our Online Dog Show?

This event is all about celebrating the joy dogs bring into our lives, and the incredible support we receive from people like you. Every entry helps fund our vital work as an animal charity, providing food, care and safe shelter for the dogs in our care across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.

It’s £3 to enter a class, and all proceeds support us to continue to help dogs in need. This is a fun, family-friendly way to keep showing up for the dogs, you might even want to enter your very own adopted Jerry Green Dog Rescue dog and you could win a rosette while you’re at it!

What to Expect

Our online dog show will run across 48 hours, from 9am on Saturday 19th July until 9pm on Sunday 20th July. You’ll be able to enter one or more of our carefully chosen classes, all designed to be inclusive and joyful, whatever your dog’s age or breed.

By offering a variety of categories, we ensure inclusivity for all breeds and ages. Each category is designed to highlight the uniqueness of each dog, allowing participants to find the perfect fit for their pooch.

How to Enter our Online Dog Show

We’ve made it super easy to take part. Our entry form will be available from 9am on Saturday 19th July, and we’ll share the link to enter across our social media channels. You’ll be able to upload a photo of your dog, tell us a little bit about them, and choose which class or classes you’d like to enter. You’re welcome to enter as many categories as you wish, the more the merrier!

To help spread the joy, we’ll also be encouraging you to post your entries on our Facebook page so that our community of dog lovers can cheer your pup on.

Prizes and Recognition

Winners from each class will receive one of our exclusive Jerry Green Dog Rescue rosettes and will be featured on our social media channels and website. We love celebrating your dogs just as much as you do, and seeing our community come together to support rescue dogs is what makes events like this so special.

Winners will be announced on Monday 21st July, so be sure to keep an eye on our social media channels!

Supporting Dogs in Need

Every time you enter your dog into a class, you’re helping us continue our life-changing work as a dog rescue charity. With centres across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, and with community initiatives in Yorkshire, we care for hundreds of dogs each year, from frightened strays and surrendered pets to long-stay companions looking for the perfect match.

We rely on donations and fundraising events like charity challenges and your fundraising ideas as well as our returning online dog show. This supports helps us to provide expert training, veterinary treatment, nutritious food, and loving care until each dog finds their forever home.

By taking part, you’re not only celebrating your own dog, you’re making a real difference to the lives of the dogs in our care, and those yet to come through our doors.

Can anyone enter the online dog show?

Absolutely! Our online dog show is open to everyone across the UK and the beauty is, you can take part from the comfort of your own sofa. Whether you have a pedigree pooch, a lovable mixed breed, or a Jerry Green rescue, all dogs are welcome to join in the fun!

How do I enter my dog for the online dog show?

Visit our social media channels on Saturday 19th July at 9am for the official entry link. Fill out our quick form and choose your classes. You’ll also have the chance to post your photos and stories on Facebook to help build excitement and community spirit.

How much does it cost?

Each online dog show entry is £3 and you can enter as many classes as you like. All funds will go to supporting our important work at Jerry Green Dog Rescue.

How will the winners be chosen in the online dog show?

Our judging panel will review every entry and choose winners based on creativity, charm and that special spark that makes every dog unique. We will be announcing the winners of each class on our social media channels and website on Monday 21st July.
