A change of scenery can be incredibly exciting for your dog. Explore a new trail, visit a local park you haven’t been to, or even take a drive to a walk you’ve been desperate to try. If you’re up for a bit more adventure, consider these ideas:
Woodland Trails: Let your dog sniff and explore the scents of woodland areas.
Mountain Hikes: If you and your dog are more adventurous, find a dog-friendly hiking trail and enjoy the views together. If hiking is for you, perhaps you’d be interested in completing our charity challenges to move with purpose.
National Parks or National Trust sites: Many national parks and National Trust sites are dog-friendly areas. Just make sure to check the rules before you go.
Beach Trip: The endless opportunities for play at the beach can make for an unforgettable experience for your dog, so take along some toys, a picnic and plenty of water for a full day of fun. Sadly not all beaches are dog-friendly so be sure to check before setting off. Don’t forget a towel and some shade to keep your dog comfortable on a warm day and be extra vigilant around water.
