The UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Award

We are thrilled to announce that our retail store in Brigg has been shortlisted for the UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Award. This brand-new award was launched by the Charity Retail Association earlier this Summer as part of their 25th Anniversary celebrations.  

The Charity Retail Association is a nonprofit organisation that represents charity shops across the UK. This award’s announcement has created a huge sense of excitement at Jerry Green Dog Rescue and across the charity sector.  

Following the announcement of the award, 6,500 nominations were received which how now been shortlisted to 6 charity shops per region across the UK, including Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the English regions. Our charity shop in Brigg, which offers new and pre-loved items to fund the vital work that we do, has been shortlisted for the Yorkshire and Humber region.  

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters who nominated any of our charity shops, with special thanks to those who put forward the Brigg location. The support and feedback we have received about the Brigg store is extremely heartwarming, and we are so proud to hear that our store has a valued space within the community.
