Beth, our Senior Dog Welfare Assistant who fostered Bambi, couldn’t let her go. Their bond was so strong that Bambi is now a permanent and much-loved member of Beth’s family.
Here’s what Beth had to say:
You may remember Bambi’s story – a Cane Corso puppy who arrived at Jerry Green Dog Rescue after being confined to a crate and starved on a diet of rice.
Thanks to the kindness of our incredible community, over £8,500 was raised to support dogs like Bambi.
And today, we’re thrilled to share that Bambi has found her new beginning.
Beth, our Senior Dog Welfare Assistant who fostered Bambi, couldn’t let her go. Their bond was so strong that Bambi is now a permanent and much-loved member of Beth’s family.
Here’s what Beth had to say:
“I’ll never forget the moment I first saw her face – I knew she was meant to be ours. She’s filled our lives with so much love, joy, and laughter. Some days she’s full of mischief, trying to wind up her ‘Pointer-sister’ Ruby, and other days she just wants extra rest and cuddles. Her recovery hasn’t been easy – short walks to build strength and countless vet visits – but her spirit shines. I hope to give Bambi the best life possible because she deserves nothing less.”Beth
It was so moving to read the comments from our community and see how Bambi’s story touched so many hearts. Her journey is just one example of the incredible impact your support makes every day.
