Complete 60 Miles in May and help raise vital funds for the dogs in our care
We’re excited for the much-anticipated return of the 60 Miles in May fundraising challenge! After our amazing supporters raised an incredible £8,083 in 2025, we’re once again inviting you to get active, earn fabulous rewards, and raise money for rescue dogs in need!
Early-bird registration is now open until Sunday 15th February, and means you will receive one of our brand-new magnets!
It’s your challenge, your way! Complete 60 miles throughout May, that’s just two miles a day, and get active while fundraising for rescue dogs in need. You can walk, wheel, cycle, run or even swim your way toward 60 miles!
Once you’ve registered, you’ll be ready to set up your fundraising page and start working towards earning some fantastic rewards.
You’ll also be invited to join our 60 Miles Facebook group, where you’ll meet your fellow challengers to stay motivated, inspire each other, and most importantly, have lots of fun!
However you take part, your fundraising will help us provide all the love and care our dogs need as we support them on their way to finding new, loving families to live with.
Jerry Green Dog Rescue exists to provide a safe place for homeless dogs and to seek new loving places for them to live. We pioneer and provide the highest standards of welfare for the dogs in our care.
Whether you participate as an individual, with family, friends or colleagues, you’ll become part of our dog-loving community who help give a second chance to dogs who’ve been abandoned, neglected, or mistreated.
Frederick arrived at Jerry Green Dog Rescue confused, underweight, and alone. Found abandoned without food or water, his once white coat was stained, and his elbows were sore from sleeping on hard concrete. Despite everything he’d been through, Frederick’s gentle, friendly nature shone through.
After some time, lifelong dog lover, Kev had been hoping to welcome the right companion onto his narrow boat when he spotted Frederick online. When Kev visited the centre, he instantly connected with Frederick. After a successful home visit, Frederick hopped aboard as if he’d always lived there, confidently exploring, relaxing on deck, and greeting passers‑by with his usual charm.
Fundraising support helped Frederick every step of the way: from his initial recovery and enrichment at the centre to the Meet&Match® process that found him the perfect forever home. By taking part in our fundraising challenges, you can help more dogs like Frederick find safety, healing, and their second chance at happiness.
