Skydive Challenge Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for a guaranteed place in the Skydive (the “Event”)  

By accepting a guaranteed entry into the Event, you agree with Jerry Green Dog Rescue that: 

Registration and participation  

  1. You will pay £30 as a non-refundable registration fee towards the cost of your entrance to the event, and your place in the event is not confirmed until this has been received and confirmed by Jerry Green Dog Rescue. 
  2. If circumstances arise that prevent you from participating in the event, you will inform Jerry Green Dog Rescue as soon as possible to enable us to offer your place to someone else. 
  3. You will aim to support Jerry Green Dog Rescue by raising funds in advance of the event and aim to meet the fundraising pledge of £350 (excluding Gift Aid and registration fee). 
  4. If you need any support with meeting the fundraising pledge for this event then the fundraising team are here to support you, we can be contacted via phone 01652 657820 and email – fundraising@jerrygreendogs.epixdev.co.uk.  
  5. Jerry Green Dog Rescue will contact you in the run up to the event with important event information and to support you in meeting the fundraising pledge. 

 Donations and payment terms  

  1. You will keep details of the names and addresses of, and amounts donated or pledged by, all donors and provide such details to Jerry Green Dog Rescue on request. 
  2. You will regularly pay all money collected on behalf of Jerry Green Dog Rescue to Jerry Green Dog Rescue using the following methods; via an online giving platform such as www.justgiving.com, via bank transfer – details of which can be requested via fundraising@jerrygreendogs.epixdev.co.uk, via credit or debit card over the phone – please call 01652 657820 or via cheque made payable to “Jerry Green Dog Rescue” to: Jerry Green Dog Rescue, Broughton, Brigg, DN20 0BJ.
  3. If you need any support with meeting the fundraising pledge for this event then the fundraising team are here to support you, we can be contacted via phone 01652 657820 and email – fundraising@jerrygreendogs.epixdev.co.uk.  
  4. Jerry Green Dog Rescue will contact you in the run up to the event with important event information and to support you in meeting the fundraising pledge.
  5. The cost of your place is included in the fundraising pledge and is covered by your fundraising, you are obliged to tell your sponsors that some of the money you raise will go towards the cost of you taking part unless you choose to donate to cover this cost.
  6. As some of the funds you raise will go towards the cost of your Skydive challenge, donations from your immediate family members do not qualify for Gift Aid. Please ensure that any immediate family members that donate to your challenge do not include Gift Aid in their donation. 
  7. In the event of withdrawal from the Event, any funds raised will not be refunded. 

Fundraising  

  1. You agree to adhere to the fundraising code of practice when raising funds for Jerry Green Dog Rescue. https://www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk/code.  
  2. You will only collect money in aid of Jerry Green Dog Rescue in connection with the Event.  
  3. You will use only lawful means to fundraise for Jerry Green Dog Rescue and will not do anything that harms or is likely to harm Jerry Green Dog Rescue ‘s reputation.  
  4. You will not use Jerry Green Dog Rescue’s logo without permission and will obtain all fundraising materials from Jerry Green Dog Rescue.  
  5. Your fundraising will not include; raising funds by carrying out door-to-door or unsolicited collections, collecting in any public place without first obtaining authorisation from the local authority and any other licences or consent that Jerry Green Dog Rescue require me to obtain, collecting on private property (including shops, pubs etc) without first obtaining permission of the owner of the private property, conducting any raffle or lottery or putting on any public Event without first contacting Jerry Green Dog Rescue and taking any steps, which Jerry Green Dog Rescue require.
  6. You agree that Gift Aid payments cannot count towards the fundraising pledge and instead will be considered as over and above the pledged fundraising total.  
  7. You agree that we can terminate your authority to fundraise in aid of Jerry Green Dog Rescue at any time. 

Personal data and images
 

  1. You give permission for the free use of your name, picture, image, feedback and comments in any future publicity, advertising, fundraising materials and/or promotion.  
  2. You give permission for your personal information to be stored and used by Jerry Green Dog Rescue in connection with the organisation, promotion and administration of the Event. 

 

Health, safety and fitness
 

  1. You take part in the Event at your own risk and will not hold Jerry Green Dog Rescue or any connected persons responsible for any accident, injury or illness sustained to the fullest extent possible in law.  
  2. You will fully prepare yourself for the physical challenge of the Event and will check with your doctor to ensure that you are medically fit to participate in the Event.  
  3. You will comply with any health and safety and other rules or guidelines issued by Jerry Green Dog Rescue or any Event organisers.  

Dates, changes and termination 

  1. This agreement will be valid from the date on which you sign unless terminated by Jerry Green Dog Rescue.  
  2. Jerry Green Dog Rescue may vary or terminate this agreement by giving written notice to you.  

Declaration and signature

  1. I confirm that I will be at least 18 years old on the date of the skydive selected and I accept all the points stated in these terms and conditions.
